Interactive Phone Installation

Story
In this project, I designed a custom printed circuit board (PCB) to replace the electronics inside an old rotary phone. The phone was part of an interactive art installation, where it played audio messages when visitors dialed certain numbers. It also worked like a voice recorder, letting people leave feedback about the event.
The installation is part of the WIR Friedrichsfelde project. You can read more about it here.
My work included designing the PCB, connecting it to the phone’s original parts, and writing the software to control audio playback and recording.
